Every preacher that I know has at one time or another, preached about Ezekiel and the valley of dry bones. And I must confess; I have preached it a few times myself.

First of all when we look into this portion of scripture we find the prophet Ezekiel being carried by the Spirit of the Lord into a valley full of bones and set right smack dab in the middle of them. And I want to stop right here for a moment, and say: Preachers, if your lead by the Spirit of the Most High God, your not always going to be sent where their shouting: AMEN PREACH IT BROTHER! Sometimes God's going to set you right in the midst of some ol' dry bones.

You see the reason God sent Ezekiel to that valley full of bones, is because God was wanting to bring them back to life.

Then the Spirit of the Lord caused him to pass them round about. Now Ezekiel's getting a good oversight of the condition of the whole valley of bones. And when he had been caused to pass them round about it was clear to him that these bones ain't just dry, their VERY DRY! And let me tell you, that, God has sent me to some places where they weren't just dry, they were VERY DRY! Well Praise The Lord.

So many churches of our hour have tried everything to produce some life in there services. But I want to let you know that, THE ONLY THING THAT'S GOING TO BRING LIFE TO THAT VALLEY OF VERY DRY BONES IS THE WORD OF THE LORD BEING PREACHED, and THE HOLY GHOST WIND OF GOD BREATHING INTO THEM!

Preacher's Must Get Back To Preaching The Word !

Now notice, God didn't say to Ezekiel: Son of man, GET YOU A HAMMOND ORGAN WITH A LESLIE SPEAKER AND GET DOWN TO THAT VALLEY OF DRY BONES AND PLAY THOSE BONES BACK TO LIFE! Someone shout amen. God didn't say: Son of man, THERES A VALLEY FULL OF VERY DRY BONES, GET YOU A GRAND PIANO AND SING THOSE BONES BACK TO LIFE! No, God sent Ezekiel to that valley of VERY DRY BONES, TO PREACH TO THEM THE WORD OF THE LORD! You see the only thing that's going to bring LIFE back to the DEADNESS, and DRYNESS of the many who are sitting in dead dry churches all around the world, is when they hear HOLY GHOST FILLED PREACHERS, PREACHING THE WORD OF THE LORD!

Son of man; PROPHESY TO THOSE BONES! Tell them, THUS SAITH THE LORD! And it's the responsibility of every GOD CALLED PREACHER to PREACH THE WORD. Paul charged Timothy in 2 Tim 4:2-4 (Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. ver.3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; ver.4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.) PREACH THE WORD! He let Timothy know that many wouldn't want to hear it: BUT PREACH IT ANYWAY!

The same is true today. And even more so. An all out attack is being waged against TRUE GOD CALLED, HOLY GHOST FILLED PREACHERS. Friends, you know as well as I do, that this Last Day RELIGIOUS MOVEMENT despises the PREACHING OF THE WORD! What was it that Paul prophesied would be the hearts cry of many church people, and many religious movements? Look at it: THEY WOULD HEAP TO THEMSELVES TEACHERS! Now Don't stop reading, and say Bro. Mike doesn't believe in teachers. I believe in the 5 fold ministry! And TEACHERS are included in it. But you see Paul was letting us know what the condition of this Last Day would be, and that is, the very thing that God choose to bring mankind to SALVATION is what this religious bunch can't stand. In 1 Cor. 1:21 Paul declared by the Holy Ghost (For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.)

Notice now, he didn't say It Pleased God by the Foolishness of SINGING to save them that believe. He said it Pleased God that by the FOOLISHNESS of PREACHING to save them that believe. You can announce an all day singing, and they'll pay money to come. But try to sell tickets to the same bunch, to come to all day Holy Ghost Preaching! You won't sell many tickets, if any! Now I don't believe we should put a price on THE PREACHING OF THE WORD, for Jesus declared: FREELY YE HAVE RECEIVED, FREELY GIVE! But it's sad to say, Those very ones that would give $7.00 and up to go to a gospel sing, or to buy a singing tape, get mad if the preacher asks for a free will offering to help with reaching this Last Day Generation with Holy Ghost Anointed Preaching.

I love to hear Anointed singing, and playing of the instruments; that's part of our Praise and Worship unto the Lord. But NOTHING will take the place of the PREACHING OF THE WORD! All the singing and entertainment that this backslidden away from God religious movement can produce, CAN NEVER BRING LIFE BACK INTO THAT VALLEY OF VERY DRY BONES! PREACH, PREACH, PREACH THE WORD!

I like what Ezekiel said in verse 7 (So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.) Preachers, if you want to see the things of God manifested in your meetings: PREACH THE WORD! Mark 16:20 (And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.) What did they do when they went forth? THEY PREACHED EVERY WHERE! And what did the Lord do? WORKED WITH THEM, and CONFIRMED THE WORD WITH SIGNS FOLLOWING! The fact is: Many so called minister's are working with out God's help. Because God only works with those that PREACH THE WORD!

I want to take a moment right here and say: Jesus didn't say to follow these signs, He said, THESE SIGNS SHALL FOLLOW THEM THAT BELIEVE!

There are those who would like for you to believe that this verse along with the others that go with it, aren't really the word. But we know that the WHOLE teaching of the bible, Old Testament, New Testament, along with Jesus' teachings prove these verse's to be true. But these very same one's who clam these verses to be no good for this hour like to clam Ps.23:6 (Surly Goodness and Mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.) Well I believe Goodness and Mercy Shall follow me all the days of my life; and along with Goodness and Mercy, are the Signs that Jesus said SHALL follow me also! Nether did Jesus say, YOU SHALL KNOW THEM BY THEIR GIFTS! But He did say in Mat. 7:16-21 (Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? ver.17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. ver.18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. ver.19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. ver.20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. ver.21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.) No, we are not to follow after signs; JESUS SAID THE SIGNS WOULD FOLLOW US!

Jesus Prayed, Father Make Them One, Even As We Are One !

Now while Ezekiel was prophesying the Word of the Lord unto those VERY DRY BONES, something began to happen. There was a NOISE, and a SHAKEN, and then the bones CAME TOGETHER. I tell you I love what the PREACHING of the LIVING WORD OF GOD produces! There was a NOISE. Some church folk don't like the NOISE. But God's word says, MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE UNTO THE LORD! You've got put your ear right up against the door of many churches to tell if their in there! Someone Shout Praise The Lord! And I'm not just talking about churches that are known for their DEAD, DRY, QUIT church services: I'm talking about churches that use to believe in SHOUTING, and MAKING A JOYFUL NOISE UNTO THE LORD! There was a SHAKING. You see the Preaching of The Word will cause things to start moving. And it won't cause them to move just any old way: IT WILL CAUSE THEM TO MOVE IN LINE WITH GOD'S WILL! And what was God's will for those bones? THAT THEY COME TOGETHER! This is what the PREACHING OF THE WORD will do; it will bring the true saints of God TOGETHER. Those which have been divided by JEALOUS PREACHERS, and MAN MADE RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS and DENOMINATIONS, when they hear the Word Preached, then they will begin to show forth the Love of God toward each other once again.

Any preacher whose preaching causes schisms in the body of Christ, " for there is only one BODY OF CHRIST, but many members. And each of us who have been washed in the Blood of Jesus, our sins having been WASHED AWAY by His Blood, are members of that ONE BODY. THE ONE TRUE CHURCH, WHICH CHRIST JESUS HIMSELF IS THE HEAD!" and drives the true saints of God apart, and sets them against each other: THAT PREACHER IS NOT PREACHING THE WORD!

Even the prayer which Jesus prayed in John 17:11 & 22, 23 was, (And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. ver. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: ver.23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.) Say what you will, but God doesn't send forth preachers to work against what His Son Jesus prayed! He sends them forth to bring his people together in labouring TOGETHER in this Last Day Work of God!

Lets look at verse's 9 & 10 once again, (Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. ver.10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.) Now in order for us to understand and grasp the power, and impact of this we must take a look at what Jesus said and did to his followers in John 20:21 & 22 (Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. ver.22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:) Then again in Luke 24:49 Jesus said unto His followers, ( And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.) And in Acts 2 we find 120 OBEDIENT believers at Jerusalem in the Upper Room all with one accord in one place waiting to receive the ENDOWMENT OF POWER FROM ON HIGH! And as they tarried there in ONE ACCORD, Acts 2:2 - 4 says, ( And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. ver.3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. ver.4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.) There's the Wind! The Breath that Jesus Breathed on them, and said, RECEIVE YE THE HOLY GHOST!

Those in that valley didn't become an EXCEEDINGLY GREAT ARMY, until AFTER THAT BREATH WAS BREATHED INTO THEM! Now Jesus showed himself alive to over five hundred brethren at once. But there were only 120 in the Upper Room. What do you think many of the others who were not there in the Upper Room were doing? They didn't have time to tarry at Jerusalem like Jesus commanded, they had to much religious business to take care of in order for them to start the "First Church of Jerusalem" or the "First Church of Judaea" or the "First Church of Samaria" Shout Amen.

But they should have been in the Upper Room with the 120, receiving THE HOLY GHOST! POWER FROM ON HIGH! God said unto Zerubbabel in Zec 4:6 concerning the work he was to do, (Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.) We must Preach the need of being FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST to believers in this Last Day. We must put them to the question once again: HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST SINCE YOU BELIEVED?

Even our military knows to use LIVE AMMUNITION when they are in warfare. They don't drop plane loads of DUD'S on the enemy. They don't fire surface to air DUD'S or heat seeking DUD'S, no they use LIVE ARTILLERY! And I want to let you know, that our God doesn't send out DUD'S! He sends forth those who are ALIVE WITH HOLY GHOST DYNAMO!
